I've put 6,000 miles on these tires and they still look like new. 285/75/16 on an Xterra, I've gotten them down to 20 psi and as high as 40 psi and they're great on and off road. Noisy tires but my suspension and exhaust makes more noise, if you're putting these on an older truck why worry about noise.

Manufactured by Jiangsu General Science Technology and distributed by U.S.-based Tireco, Celimo tires provide an impressive balance of performance and value. Their lineup features aggressive tread designs, Three Peak Mountain Snowflake ratings for winter safety, and durable rubber compounds backed by solid mileage warranties. Designed for SUVs, CUVs, light trucks, and passenger cars, Celimo tire has a presence in different categories like all-season, all-terrain, and mud-terrain.
The Celimo Prevail M/T has rapidly established itself as a disruptive force in the mud-terrain segment, designed for drivers who demand extreme off-road capability without spending a fortune. Designed for light trucks, Jeeps, and SUVs, the Prevail M/T returns high-void traction and structural resilience. Its aggressive architecture features deep, staggered tread blocks and reinforced upper sidewalls that act as both a shield against trail debris and a source of lateral "bite" in deep mud or loose silt.
By integrating modern features like stone ejectors and specialized angled siping, the Prevail M/T balances its rugged tread depth with great on-road stability. It offers a heavy-duty solution—often available in up to 12-ply ratings—for drivers seeking a reliable partner for both everyday utility and punishing off-road expeditions.
Should you buy one? Let’s try to answer the question in this Celimo Prevail M/T tire review, where we analyse its features and benefits, pros and cons, and the list of possible compatible vehicles before giving you our comprehensive view.
Features and Benefits
Mud-terrain tires are purpose-built for extreme off-road environments. They feature aggressive, oversized tread blocks and a high void ratio to eject mud and debris effectively. With reinforced sidewalls to resist punctures and softer rubber compounds for maximum grip on rocks and ruts, they are the ultimate choice for serious adventurers.
The Celimo Prevail M/T tries to meet all the requirements to qualify for a reliable mud-terrain tire within a budget. Let’s analyse its features and their corresponding benefits:
-
Solid grip and traction: With an aggressive, high-void ratio, the Prevail M/T features staggered blocks with wide lateral grooves for increased bite on loose dirt and soft mud. Meanwhile, the high-void design helps boost self-cleaning as it ejects debris, stones, and rocks for consistent traction and grip in different driving conditions.
-
Enhanced durability: The Celimo mud-terrain tire features large tread blocks that extend towards the sides for extra lateral traction when passing through deep ruts and creates an extra protective layer to resist punctures, abrasions, cuts, and chips for a longer service life. Designed for SUVs and heavy trucks, the Prevail M/T can carry heavy loads while maintaining tire integrity and resisting chunking on gravel roads.
-
Improved control and stability: While heavy-duty casing and rubber compound reinforce its internal structure, the use of angled edges and precise sipes improves Prevail M/T’s braking and wet performance on slick surfaces, leading to improved on-road control and stability.
The Celimo Prevail M/T is available in a wide range of tire sizes, including 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, 22, 24, and 26 inches.

I purchased these for my lifted Jeep Grand Cherokee, to replace worn-out BFG TA K/O2's. I have now competed in quite a few off-road events, including the local Jeep Jam. They are ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. I have put them through their paces, as it were, I've taken them through sand, water, mud, and clay, and they have exceeded a lot of people's assumptions. I would highly recommend these tires for anyone looking for a more aggressive, reasonably priced tire.
These ride a whole lot quieter than the Patagonias that I had on before. I went up from a 33 to a 35 and am impressed. I will buy these again.
